Meet the FROSH Organizing Committee!
Meet our team! We have three months to make FROSH an amazing experience you will never forget! Did you know each of us actually have our own superpowers? Kind of like X-Men, ya know?
Lauren Bruce and Elisha Allen
Bio
Hello everyone and welcome to Frosh 2011! We are both going into our third year in
Marketing, and are so excited to be the Co-Chairs of Frosh 2011. We met on the very
first day of our Frosh back in 2009 and have been best friends ever since - cheesy
but true. We fell in love with the Sauder spirit and told each other that weekend
that we would one day co-chair Frosh together... so here we are! Other than Frosh,
Lauren is very involved with the development and teaching of the Comm 202
class, as well as serving in her church's youth ministry. She loves to travel and has
visited many countries across the world, including two trips to Uganda to work with
her church's orphanage. Elisha is the debating queen, winning the Intercollegiate
Business Competition at Queens in January, JDC West for the past two years (2010,
2011), and many other national titles. Elisha's other passion is sailing, and her
accomplishments include competing for Team Alberta and founding the UBC
Collegiate Sailing Team. We have absolutely loved planning Frosh this year so we
hope that everyone involved has an amazing experience and truly feels welcomed
into the Sauder family! SAUDER IS HOT TO GO!

Negar Amiri
Bio
Hello my loves! I'm Negar and I'm your vice-chair for FROSH 2011 (aka the best FROSH EVVERRR - not to sound biased or anything)!!!! I was terrified going into FROSH my first year. I knew absolutely zero people. However, I met amazing people within my group - two of which co-chair this year's FROSH - and in other groups! Soon, I was having a crazy good time and time passed like no other! I am now going into 3rd year and will be majoring in marketing. I hope to one day become a TV/film producer. Watch out Mark Wahlberg! Fun fact about me: I'm not ashamed to say I adore Justin Bieber. The boy has talent and is adorable! You'll probably learn more fun facts about me throughout the weekend. Come say hi to me! I am looking forward to meeting you ALL!

Conor Clarance
Bio
Dear business leaders of tomorrow and James Lee,
My name is Conor and I am in charge of you having fun at night. I am the VP Night Events for this weekend of ""learning"". So, for the weekend of debauchery - I mean "learning" that will occur I ensure that my top priority is FUN. Followed by safety! but let's just say I'm glad we have an awesome first aid team to make sure I don't even have to worry about safety, because I don't. Anyway, I am from Whistler B.C. and am a super serious guy with no sense of humour. In fact, I was once called the worst audience participant Cirque du Soleil ever had. Here are a few facts my friends say about me:
FACT: ""Conor speaks 7 languages, including braille"" - Daniel Lipson
MYTH: ""Conor is a mythical beast from the time of yore"" - Melanie Clarance (mother)
FACT: "He is not actually from the time of Yore. He is both current and sensational" - Rod Clarance (father)
FACT: "Conor has never told a lie, not even now. Seriously, never" - Geoffroy Balthazard
That said if you get a chance to say hi then we can add each other on Linkedin since that's what's cool to do in the business world. Seriously though, if I could describe myself in one word, it would be professional. I'm very excited to personally assure you that you have made the second best decision in your life by coming to Sauder. The best decision you made was coming to Sauder Frosh. Favourite childhood game: Monopoly (because I cheated, stole from the bank, and would "escape" from jail) Cartoon Lookalike: Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes

Jacqueline Chen
Bio
Hey good looking! My name is Jacqueline, and I love long walks on the beach and partying at Frosh! I'm slightly kidding, but seriously be excited for the good times you'll have at Frosh. I can't even pick a favorite moment from my Frosh because everything was just so legendary; that's how good yours will be! For more about myself, I'm insanely Canadian (born in Montreal and raised in Vancouver/Richmond), but I love travelling to new places and having crazy adventures. I love being outside, but if I'm stuck inside then all I need to survive are my favorite comedies and sitcoms. One of my favorite things to do is volunteering so you can normally find me at the Richmond BCSPCA, and other community events! There's probably more about me that I could talk about, but I love getting to know other people so don't be afraid to approach me if you need!

My absolute favourite thing about frosh is meeting new people and building sauder spirit! I had a lot of fun at my own frosh, met a ton of new friends and will never forget all the incredible memories.

Natalie Shojania
Bio
Natalie is excited to start her 3rd year with a major in Marketing. She's worked at American Eagle Outfitters for 4 years, and in her spare time loves going to the beach and going out to eat with friends. She is a self proclaimed caffeine addict and makes a daily run to Starbucks for a vanilla latte. Her favourite TV shows are Real Housewives (of New Jersey and Orange County), Entourage, the Hills and Desperate Housewives. This will be Natalie's first FROSH so she's very stoked to see just how rowdy Sauder can get! She visits her family in Atlanta every summer- this past summer market her 12th visit there! As a child, Natalie was convinced she would someday serve as Loonette the Clown's replacement on the Big Comfy Couch. She has since then moved on, and can't wait to learn about consumer marketing and brand management. Originally in the faculty of Sciences, Natalie transferred to Sauder after her 1st year and has never looked back- she loves her program, the people, and all the opportunities she's been given as a Commerce student.
Favourite childhood game:
Pinball: loved the bright lights and all the noises it made, it was a really addictive game!

All of us from the FROSH team would like you to know that he's a combination of AWESOME, AMAZING, and ABSOLUTELY AWESOME AND AMAZING.
